The Quartz Cap Mini by The Rogue Wax Works is a little version of the larger Quartz Cap vaporizers and is the first setup from TRWW which can be heated with a regular micro torch (Dynavap size) instead of needing a full blown large blowtorch setup. Though for optimal performance and ease of use we would suggest something a little larger like the FireFox or Stingray by Blazer.

With an approximate 0.1gram capacity it's available in one size and is designed for use with 14mm water tools, though you can grab 14.4-18.8mm or 14.4-10mm adapters/reducers if you'd like to use it with a different size rig. Like all TRWW glass vaporizers this can be used with either ground herb or whole nugs. Ensure your water tool/bubbler has an upright joint to place this in, not a 45 degree angled one.

Included in the kit are three different thickness Quartz caps each of which provides different performance allowing for full extractions in one or multiple heat cycles. There are little tweezers which before the first use can be bent around the cap (we suggest doing this with the thicker 2mm cap), allowing them the be removed while they're still warm without burning your fingers.

When used with the FireFox, Stingray, Temporal or Shift torches, simply heat the cap around the sides (not the top), angling the flame upwards slightly, until the flame starts to turn from blue to yellow as it hits the cap. Then begin your inhale. With a smaller torch heat it the same way but be a little more cautious as the flame won't turn yellow until a little later since they heat less efficiently, this means there's a little more of a learning curve as you ascertain exactly how long to heat the cap for with your specific torch. Generally around 20 seconds with a smaller torch as a very vague guide.
